My photography journey started with my sister and a food blog called Nourish & Inspire Me. We needed to create images of all the recipes we created so without a second thought picked up a basic DSLR camera and started shooting. From that moment I’ve never looked back. I was introduced to weddings by a friend and fellow photographer who asked me to shoot a wedding with her in Sydney, Australia. It was from that moment that I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. I was working a corporate job in digital marketing and knew I needed to pursue wedding photography full time so for about a year I worked two jobs. When the right time came I was able to start living my passion everyday and call wedding photography my full time job. I’m so grateful to have turned my passion and hobby into a job that I love. This career has provided so many amazing rewards even beyond what I could have imagined when I first started. I get to travel, visit my family in Australia 2-3 times a year and I get to serve amazing couples who bring me so much joy. I love the process of getting to know my couples, standing by them on one of the most important days of their lives and curating timeless images that are cherished and passed down for many generations to come.
Suzie is our Australia based photographer and we’re lucky enough to work together throughout the year both in the USA and Australia. Suzie is a mother (to my niece Lonnie who you will see a lot on our Instagram Stories), wife-to-be, photographer and songwriter. It all started for her when a good friend and talented photographer gifted her one of her old cameras and asked her to shoot a wedding with her. She fell in love with capturing people from behind the lens. Suzie style is natural and candid with soft light and a genuine, romantic feel. She loves the journey of a wedding, from the fine details like the rings, to the shoes and the dress, and of course those real moments between the bride and groom, their family and friends.
